The Poker Tournament Formula by Arnold Snyder
Review By Howard Berenbon
If you’re a fan of tournament poker, the book “The Poker Tournament Formula by Arnold Snyder” could be what you need for a winning edge. Synder’s book will show you the right way to play “fast” multi-table tournaments no-limit hold’em. This is a game that can last an hour or up to seven hours and according to Synder he offers specific strategies. If you’re new to tournament no-limit hold’em, Synder says you can learn to win like an experienced poker player, and if you’re experienced you’ll find his analyses and strategies surprising.
The book is over 366 pages with 30 chapters of pure instruction, advice and strategies for the beginner or the advanced player. You can use the book for live tournaments or even online tournaments. First you’ll learn to play the game, if don’t know all ready, then on to the meat of the book. The chapter titles include Basic Position Strategy, The Patience Factor, Card Strategy I: Hands and Moves, Card Strategy II: Outs and Odds, Player Types, The Chip Strategy, Bluffing, Bounties, Mistakes (you should avoid), The Luck Factor, Laydowns, Tournament Skills Check List, How Much Money Do You Need, and several more
I can’t go into the strategies in thlis short book review, but if you’re interested playing Texas hold’em tournaments for fun or profit this is the book to buy. With Snyder’s facts and figures and expert advice, you’ll get the help you need to play to win.
The Poker Tournament Formula is available in paperback and sells for $19.13. For more information or to order visit Amazon.com.
